Rev. Jason Nathaniel Knight

June 1, 2014, Rev. Knight was called and elected to the office of Senior Pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church. In his short tenure, both members and Pastor are truly thankful for what the LORD has produced, thus far. Pastor Knight’s vision for Mount Olive Baptist Church is to “Regain the Lost, Revive the Church, and Live a Life of Renewal.” It is through this vision that Pastor Knight believes the kingdom of GOD will be advanced throughout our families, communities, and the world, through authentic worship, meaningful fellowship, biblical discipleship, and outreach.

  

Pastor Knight has received his Associates Degree in Biblical Studies, a Bachelor of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, GA and is currently pursing Master of Divinity at Liberty University. Rev. Knight was voted 2017 Clergyman of the Year by the Virginia Beach Interdenominational Minister’s Conference, he was NAACP VP runner up and He is a current Board member of Mile High Kids INC, which is the Head Start program of Virginia Beach. Rev. Knight has been called to preach the unadulterated Word of GOD, and He is the Husband to Lady Denise knight and father to Janae Nicole. In short Pastor Knight believes that we can reclaim a lost generation, by showing GOD’s unfailing, compassionate, and all-consuming love! Pastor Knight is on fire for GOD, and passionate about his word, and believes there is a need to teach a living word to a dying world.

 

Favorite Scripture: Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but it according to his mercy that He has saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost.”
